What's Your Communtiy?

Myspace is a community. Myspace is a community because this is a website were thousands of people go to everyday and maintain what their profile looks like and says. The thing that holds this group together is that it's the "popular" thing to do and it's a way to keep in touch with friends and family that you don't see everyday. The people of this community all like putting pictures up of them and what their doing. Comment friends and some even like posting bulletins up saying what they did that day or what their happy about. There are many other websites that are alike this. For example, facebook is almost exactly like myspace and works the same way, helps keep you in touch with long distance friends and family.

Just about everyone can fit into this community. From young to old, popular to geeky, and quiet to loud. This is a place where everyone comes together and usually is nice to everyone. I want to be a part of this community because it lets people see and learn about you. Helps family not miss much of what's going on in your life when you are busy and can't make it to see them. Myspace isn't used for just friends, but for family too.
